Do you want to know why I was banned?
[edit]Rich, it's Scott here. Would you really like to know why I was banned by the WMF? The reason might surprise, and shock, you! 177.180.10.21 10:11, 6 April 2016 (UTC)

about de Sade’s Justine ou les malheurs de la vertu
[edit]Hey I know you uploaded this [1] image a long time ago but I’d like to know if you knew where it comes from since it seems to be one of hundred original illustrations of de Sade’s novel and I’d like to see the others. Thank you if you will answer to my question Atarassic (talk) 02:13, 16 July 2024 (UTC)
- I don't recall but:
- Using tineye.com it might have been pixgood.com marquis-de-sade-illustration.html - First found on Nov 26, 2014 Filename: Justine.jpg(1200 x 945, 569.7 kB)

Wikicrowd seals
[edit]Hey hey, I just wanted to say a thanks for https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Addshore/wikicrowd.yaml&diff=next&oldid=1036543846 and it highlights one of the reasons that I really wanted to make the config more easily editable :)
One of the first conversations I had after adding the category to wikicrowd was with a marine mammal vet that I know, and I asked "Is a Galápagos sea lion a Pinnipedia". To which I got the answer "Yes pinnipeds covers all seals, sea lions, fur seals and the walrus".
So your new name for the group is very apt :)

- You're very welcome. I had a hack that used to make js files easier to edit, but it relied on embedding wiki-headers in multi-line comments. Since Yaml doesn't have multiline comments it wouldn't work, unless you had a pre-parser for the Yaml - in which case you could just use ordinary headers I guess.
